I searched for several days to find some winter boots for my Hobbit feet, that would allow room for my toes (and socks), without weighing 20# each. It's hard to shop for shoes online, as the size 10 on one site might actually be a size 11 on another. Thankfully, FitVille gave me very good guidance on how to measure my feet, and very good descriptions of each boot offered. Lots of different types and styles, too. I have diabetic feet, and Neuropathy, as well as flat feet, and finding shoes that don't squish my toes if I get swelling has been difficult. But oh joy! These boots allow room for my toes and winter socks! The surprise bonus is that these boots are LIGHT. I didn't think they were boots until I actually opened the box, they are THAT light. Comfort, warmth, good-looking, well-made and sturdy, and LIGHT. I will be buying all my shoes at FitVille....my feet deserve them.

The strap on top of the shoes is more decorative and it doesn’t tighten or loosen the shoe. If you have swollen/thick ankles you would have to give it time break into your shoes . Otherwise they have a great grip and worth the $$ and you don’t have to worry about lacing shoes anymore!
These boots are exactly what I wanted and was looking for. They are a 4E Extra Wide Slip on, warm. Comfortable, winter boot that my foot can actually comfortably fits into. I weat them when I need to snow blow, goto the mailbox, run out real quick to get gas, or a pizza, or a coffee. I wear them to play with the dogs in the snowy backyard. Sometimes wear them to work then at work change into my other Fitville Shoes. Keep in mind, this is a BOOT. It has a flat bottom. It is a tough durable grippy bottom so it may not be comfortable to walk around in all day. They are stylish and easy to slip into. Would highly recommend.
